The president of ABCARB, current vice president of the Latin American Carbon Association and professor at EPUSP, Guilherme Lenz, was one of the panelists invited by IBRAM to participate in the roundtable discussion on Graphite. The event addressed strategic, market, geopolitical, and regulatory issues related to critical minerals, as well as Brazil’s role in this context.
The panel participants were: Ricardo Alves, PMP®, MSP®, Executive Director of Graphcoa; Francisco Valdir Silveira, Director of Geology and Mineral Resources at the Geological Survey of Brazil; Guilherme Lenz, President of the Brazilian Carbon Association (ABCarb) and POLI/USP professor; and Elis Virginia da Silva Santana, Innovation Coordinator at Mining Hub.
